Turkana Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai and his predecessor Josphat Nanok are engaged in a supremacy battle over county leadership affairs.

Lomorukai has in the recent past been chiding the former governor, accusing him of allegedly undermining his administration.

Nanok on the other hand, has maintained that he is no longer the governor, asking his successor 'to deliver services to Turkana residents.

The supremacy battle between the two Turkana leaders has been brewing over the past month.

The differences played out publicly last weekend when Lomorukai claimed that the former governor was plotting his defeat in the 2027 elections.

Governor Lomorukai warned Nanok, who is the deputy State House Comptroller to stop undermining his administration or he would spill the beans over "questionable deals" when he was governor.

"I am covering his shame by paying questionable debts accrued during his administration," an angry Lomurakai said.
