Nakuru family loses nine sheep in wild animal attack

A family in Kiamunyeki area of Nakuru County lost nine sheep after a wild animal entered their home and attacked livestock.

The wild animal that attacked at around 3.30am yesterday, also critically injured five sheep and left four with minor injuries.

Dundori Division Assistant County Commissioner Henry Kirua, confirmed the incident.

“We have forwarded the report to the Kenya Wildlife Service for further action,” said Kirua. “There is a dangerous animal on the loose around this area and the residents must be careful. They should also report if they have any information that would be of help.”
