Police recover 21 cartridges, but stolen gun from Mai Mahiu police post still missing

The disappearance of a firearm and 30 rounds ammunition from Mai Mahiu police station took a new twist after 21 spent cartridges were recovered in an abandoned quarry.

Two suspects, have at the same time, been arrested in connection with the loss of the AK47 rifle from the house of a junior officer last week.
