In the book of Judges, a story is told of how Samson went out to Gaza, saw a prostitute and had sex with her. The men of Gaza heard of it and laid in wait for him in the morning. At midnight, Samson woke up and took on his shoulders the doors of the gate of the city, its two posts and bar; and carried them up to the top of the hill before Hebron. Later, he loved a woman called Delilah.
