Ruth Matete hurt as car rolls

Last year’s Sh5 million Tusker Project Fame winner must be grateful to God after she survived a road accident last Saturday. Even though details are scanty as her family and church opted to keep the issue on the down-low, word on the street has it that the talented singer was trying to avoid an oncoming car when she swung to the roadside and her car rolled.

Speculation was high after the singer, a worship leader at the House of Grace church situated on Lang’ata Road, missed church service, with word going out that she had been fatally injured during the accident.
