Jubilee Party has listed a replacement to the Kanini Kega led faction of leaders who shifted allegiance to the Kenya Kwanza coalition.
During the May 22 Jubilee National Delegates Conference held at Ngong Racecourse in Nairobi, the party Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni made changes as a move to fill the positions left by the leaders who shifted allegiance.
"Jubilee has kicked out members who have shown allegiance to other Parties led by EALA MP Kanini Kega and the positions to be filled with loyal, trust worthy members," Kioni said.
Kioni made the following changes in the deputy party leadership position; Beatrice Gambo(strategy), Maoka Maore (Operations), Joshua Manje (Programmes) and Kados Muiruri(Outreach).
He also picked Saitoti Torome as the chairman, Yasin Noor as the Deputy SG, Pauline Njoroge for Deputy Organizing secretary, National director election - Jamleck Kamau, Women league - Maison Leshomo, Youth League chair - Agnes Thumbi, Business council - Nderitu murithi and Parliament Secretary - Amina Siyad.
The SG said that bank signatories will also be changed.
There have been in-house leadership wrangles in the party between a faction led by Kega and the one led by Kioni.
On May 2, the faction led by Kega claimed that they ousted former President Uhuru Kenyatta as its party leader, naming nominated MP Sabina Chege as a replacement.
The Kioni lead faction had also written to terminate membership of the other faction by writing to the register of political parties stating that they went against the bylaws of the party.
