Transport company Super Metro has resumed operations following a court ruling that temporarily lifted the suspension imposed by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).

In an order issued on Monday, The Transport Licensing Appeal Board granted the transport company the go-ahead to resume services immediately.

"An interim order is hereby issued staying the execution, enforcement, and operation of the decision of the respondents dated March 18, 2025, suspending the operation of the appellant herein, Super Metro Sacco Limited, as a PSV operator," the board's chair Adrian Kamotho stated.

Kamotho stated that Super Metro is at liberty to resume operations immediately due to compliance with the law.

The board also directed that the ruling be served to the Inspector General of Police.

Super Metro's operations were suspended on March 20, 2025, following an NTSA directive issued two days earlier citing non-compliance with road safety measures.
