Kenyans across the country are marking Christmas Day with various celebrations.

A spot check by The Standard across the country revealed a festive atmosphere, with major towns bustling with activity in entertainment venues and restaurants.

Despite the celebrations, some business owners reported lower sales compared to previous years, citing a subdued holiday shopping season.
