Justice David Majanja has been re-elected to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), representing High Court judges.

He secured 81 votes, outpacing James Olola, who received 47 votes, and Joram Abuodha, who received 9 votes.

Justice Majanja, a representative of the Kenya Magistrates and Judges Association, was first elected to the Commission on May 14, 2019, for a five-year term.

He was appointed a Judge of the High Court in 2011 and is currently stationed at the Milimani Civil Division.

Before his re-election, Justice Majanja served as the Chairperson of the Human Resource Management Committee and was a member of the Audit, Governance and Risk Management Committee and the Learning and Development Committee.

He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Pretoria and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi.
