Those who scored between 001 and 099 were 2,060 candidates accounting for 0.15 percent.

Out of the 1.4 million candidates who sat the examination, only two were involved in examination malpractices.

One of the candidates was found with an unauthorised note in the exam room while the other had a mobile phone.

2023 KCPE candidates can access their results by sending their index numbers to 40054 at Sh25 per SMS.

Below are some of the faces of the top 2023 KCPE students:

Bii Meshack from Moi Primary School in Nakuru scored 412 marks.
Mbae Precious Wanjiru from Consolata Primary School, Meru scored 411 marks.
Clinton Alusiola from Fesbeth Academy, Kakamega scored 420 marks.
Valerie Chemutai from St Mary's Mixed Primary, Bomet County scored 421 Marks.
Stecy Mwendwa and Precious Wanjiru who got 417 and 411 marks respectively from Consolata Primary School Meru.
Bill Mwangi of Bridgan Academy with 401 marks.

Wambua Mirriam Mbete of Christopher Kiamba Memorial School, Makueni County with 413 marks
Odhiambo Ronald Otieno of Lakewood Emerald School in Kitengela with 420 marks
Adriel Alice Wairimu Muriithi of Hospital Hill Primary, Nairobi County with 407 marks
Mary Maggy of Golden Elites Schools with 420 marks
Andrew Oriku Oigara of Imperial Primary School in Kisii County with 421 marks
