Kenya has lost 86 per cent of its iconic birds over the past 40 years, a report by local and international scientists has shown. The report released on February 1 established that the country’s iconic Secretary bird and the Long-crested eagle - have almost disappeared, with their populations plummeting by 94 per cent.
