Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to the streets of Portugal to show off his brand new supercar, dubbed the 'McLaren Senna'.

Ronaldo, an avid car fan, has brought several supercars in the past and the latest showpiece McLaren model has been made as a tribute to the late Formula One legend Ayrton Senna.

Forever the showman, the 34-year-old left onlookers in awe as he drove through the streets of Lisbon in the black and silver supercar.

He is renowned for his speed on the pitch and it looks as though the Portuguese footballer has an appetite for fast cars.

The McLaren Senna can reach 100km/h (62 mph) in an astonishing 2.8 second - and McLaren has said that 'the McLaren Senna is the fastest McLaren road car ever to go around a racetrack.'

The car's approximate value is Sh128 million and possesses a top speed of 340 km/h (208 mph).

Ronaldo's fleet of luxury vehicles reportedly includes a Lamborghini Aventator, a Mercedes Clase C Sport Coupe, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Ujn Ferrari 599 GTO, a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, an Aston Martin DB9, a McLaren MP4 12C and a Bentley Continental GTC Speed.

Once he has returned from his pre-season break, Ronaldo looks set to be in for a busy time under new manager Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian held a secret meeting with Ronaldo and the Juve president Gianni Agnelli about they can transform Ronaldo back into a goal machine he was at Real Madrid, where he scored 44 goals in 44 games in his last season.

On the pitch, the five-time Balon D'or winner had a decent first season at Juventus , scoring 20 goals in 27 games and helping the Old Lady to yet another Serie A title, their ninth in a row.

However, Juventus have struggled in Europe. The wait continues for another Champions League title after they crashed out in the quarter-finals against Ajax.
