National Sevens Circuit leaders Kenya Harlequin, Christie Sevens champions Kabras Sugar, Menengai Oilers and Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST RFC) are all through to the semifinals of the 2024 Dala Sevens ongoing in Kisumu.

Quins who also won the Kakamega Sevens two weeks ago stormed the last four after stunning defending champions KCB 12-5 in a close tense match played at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium on Sunday.

The Nairobi based outfit will now seek to reach a third consecutive final this season after reaching finals in the opening leg Christie Sevens and Kakamega Sevens.

In the second semifinal, MMUST withstood a resounding Catholic Monks attack to emerge 17-12 winners and reach their first semis of the circuit.

Josephat Omulefu scored and converted his own try before captain Veron Kaburu and Bivon Okoth sealed the win.

Menengai Oilers on the other hand knocked out Nondescripts 12-5. Dennis Abukuse scored a brace to lead the Nakuru outfit to the semis.

In the final quarter, Kabras Sugar humbled Nakuru 32-0.

Derrick Ashiundu, Patrick Lumumba, Warren Kamadi, William Muhanji all crossed over the white wash in the win.

MMUST will face off against Oilers in the first semifinal before Kabras play Quins in what will be a repeat of the Christie Sevens final the sugar millers won three weeks ago.
