Kenya Lionesses will face off against China at 7.01pm East African Time in the finals of the Paris Olympic Repechage.

Kenya must win the match to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics set for next month in France.

The World Rugby Sevens Repechage will decide the final men’s and women’s qualifiers for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 rugby sevens competition.

Lionesses narrowly edged out Czech 12-10 to qualify for the finals against China who thrashed Poland 41-5.

In the match, Naomi Amuguni split the Czech defense after sprinting from their own 22 down the middle to touch down a center post try for a 7-0 lead.

Moments later, Japan based Jante Okello beat her marker in the right wing before pacing down to touch down near the posts and stretching the lead to 12-0 after missed conversion.

The Czech would however have the last laugh of the half after crossing over the white wash to cut the gap to 12-5 at half time.

In the final half, it was more defense play for the Kenyans who held on to win despite Czech scoring deep after the hooter but could not convert to force sudden death.
