FKF-PL: Ulinzi Stars come from behind to bag first win of the season against Posta Rangers

Ulinzi Stars registered their first win of the 2024-2025 season on Sunday when they came from 1-0 down at half time to edge out Posta Rangers 2-1 in an entertaining FKF Premier League match played at Machakos Stadium.

Rangers begun the match on the front foot after scoring inside the opening seven minutes when Curtis Wekesa found the back of the net in the seventh minute to give Posta a narrow 1-0 lead after Amos Asembeka

Posta who are just one point above the relegation zone defended cautiously and protected their lead until half time, a carrying a one goal advantage.

However, matters changed in the final half when the soldiers restored parity through Fredrick Oduor in the 58th minute.

Matters went from bad to worse for Rangers who went behind when Enosh Ochieng found the back of the net in the 74th minute for Ulinzi to lead 2-1.

The defeat saw Posta Rangers remain winless in their last four matches.

In fact, their only win came last month when they stunned AFC Leopards 1-0.

Rangers stay 15th with five points, a point above danger zone.

On the other hand, Ulinzi moved 10th with six points.
