Kisumu Day High School will renew their rivalry with Kisumu Boys High School in the 2024 Kisumu Central Sub County finals on Sunday at Kisumu Boys grounds from 10.30am.
The finals will be played
The Kisumu County defending champions thrashed Kudho 8-1 in a one-sided semifinal match played at Kisumu Day grounds on Saturday afternoon to book a date with their nemesis.
On the other hand, Kisumu Boys had to endure over 3 hours to knock out a stubborn Magadi 5-4 on penalties after playing pout the regular and extra time 2-2.
The match was stopped more than three times due to crowd trouble but eventually it was played out as Kisumu Boys won at their own backyard.

Speaking after their qualification, Kisumu Day multidisciplinary coach Booker Odhiambo remained confident they will win against Kisumu Boys.
“We are very ready for the finals. The boys have been improving game by game and we showed our doubters that we can score goals with the big semis win.
“We know it is still early, but Kisumu Day is strengthening day by day,” said Odhiambo.
Kisumu Day and Kisumu Boys have both qualified for the Kisumu County finals slated for June 12.
