Aluel said her academic journey has been one of perseverance, determination and thirst for knowledge.

The student is known for commitment to studies and outstanding performance in examinations.

"I'm very happy to have achieved these marks. I worked hard, and the teachers were very supportive. My dream is to join Alliance Girls High School and become a lecturer," she said.

The school's Director Lincoln Njogu noted that 66 students attained 400 marks and above, which raised the mean score to 398 marks, surpassing last year's 371 marks.

"As a school, we are very proud of our students. We had 134 candidates who sat for the KCPE exams, and 66 managed to score more than 400 marks compared to last year, and our mean score has improved," he said.

Mary Wachuka, Aluel's mother, described her as an obedient child who was always serious in her studies.

"When I received the news that she had performed well, I was so happy, she has always been working hard, and through the help of the teachers, she deserved it. She has consistently shown great promise, and it is truly gratifying to witness her efforts being recognized," she said.
