Kanu National Chairman Gideon Moi has today condoled with the family of the late manager of the Tiaty NG-CDF committee.
Augustine Loribo, popularly known as Blue, died in a road accident last Thursday after his vehicle rolled in the Kiboino area along the Kabarnet-Iten Road.
"Learning of Blue's death came as a shock to me. We built our friendship while on different camps, but still worked together. He was a very active person," said Gideon.
He described him as truthful and a hero to many. "In our interaction, he was a direct person... I'm still reflecting on the unity he loved. He was a man of all seasons."
"There is diversity in the political landscape of our county. In his way, Blue managed to manoeuvre beyond the political parties and create harmony among leaders in their differences," said Gideon.
Former Baringo Deputy Speaker Makale Selemoi said the politics of tolerance practised by Blue and Gideon were exemplary.
Former Baringo Woman Rep Gladwell Cheruiyot mourned Blue as an open and rare type of person.
Blue's brother Edwin Riamangura said his death was a blow to the family and the community. "He was the pillar of his extended family, especially financially. He was not a mean person. Many community members who depended on him are at a loss," said Riamangura
