Raila Odinga's planned rally at Marani in Kisii County delayed on Tuesday for several hours following a heavy downpour.

The Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya presidential candidate was forced to land in Oyugis Town, Homa Bay County as heavy rains pounded many parts of Kisii.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader had scheduled political rallies at Marani, Masimba, Nyamache and Gusii Stadium.

Several Kisii leaders were forced to shelter at the Marani Primary School as they waited for Raila Odinga to arrive.
