Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) office has said it will prosecute a University of Nairobi (UoN) lecturer based at Upper Kabete Campus alleged to have asked for a bribe from a student to allow him re-sit an examination.

In a report covering April to June this year, DPP Keriako Tobiko said the Ethics and anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) investigations established that the lecturer solicited and received financial advantage of Sh3,100 from the student contrary to section 6 (1) (a) of the Bribery Act (No. 47 of 2016).
