Opposition leader Raila Odinga has opened up and talked about his condition after food poisoning on Tuesday this week.
Speaking to journalist on Thursday at Serena hotel a day after he was discharged from Karen Hospital Raila confirmed that he is out of danger.
He further ruled out the possibility of somebody poisoning his food.Raila said that food poisoning can come as a result of one eating food that is not compatible with one's digestive system.
“ Food poisoning does not neccessarily mean that someone has given you poison, but it is when one eats something that does not agree with your digestion system,” said Raila.
Raila admitted that he was feeling unwell on Wednesday after that food poisoning.He also said that he assumed that the condition was not that serious until it worsened in the course of the day forcing him to go to the hospital for an examination.
According to him he doesn't know where exactly it happened.He thanked all Kenyans for their prayers, message of solidarity, love and the support they gave to him when they realised that he was hospitalised.
Additionally, the opposition leader said that he has fully recovered and ready to soldier on with his political missions and ambitions.
Raila was in high spirit, very strong and eating normally.This is good news for his supporters who were so worried about his health.
