The number of terrorist attacks in the world is on the rise with the most recent one being the Malian attack. These kinds of attacks can end only if nations are united against terrorism.
All nations must be ready to share intelligence reports. If this is done and all nations remains vigilant without segregation, the inhumane terrorists will have no place in the world. And that will mark an end to the bloodshed that the world is witnessing.
Developed countries have security apparatus they can use to capture important intelligence information. They should therefore, share this information with third-world countries or fellow states.
The resolution by the United Nations Security Council authorising nations to take all necessary measures to fight the Islamic State is welcome although it is long overdue.
It is everyone’s hope that all nations, both those party to the UN and those not, shall arise and with one voice condemn these terror groups. We all need to understand that the world is better off without people who see no value in life.
