Former national volleyball champions Cheptil Boys have bounced back to the national scene after emerging the Rift Valley Secondary Schools volleyball champions.
They achieved the feat from a 3-1 win over stubborn Andersen of Uasin Gishu in an entertaining match at Bomet Green Stadium on Saturday.
Kesogon snatched the girls’ volleyball title after overcoming Kosirai from Nandi with straight sets of 25-18, 25-15, and 25-21.
Volleyball coordinator Naomi Kamunjeru said the final matches were entertaining but the winning margins indicated the standards were still not up-to-date.
“We still have some uphill tasks before we come back to our regular standards at the games,” she said.
