Thousands of women in Dagoretti North face challenges in generating income to support their families.

Limited access to resources and opportunities often leaves them struggling to make ends meet.

The donation of 100 chairs aims to provide a solution, offering the women a chance to rent out the chairs and generate income.

The donation, targeting around 4,000 women, was made during the annual general meeting of the Community Awareness and Improvement Movement for Empowerment and Rehabilitation (CAIMER) at Coast PAG in Kabiro Ward.

By using the chairs for rental purposes, the women can improve their livelihoods and contribute to their families' well-being.

Brian Oduor, Director of Brian's Community Outreach (Brico), noted that the initiative is part of a broader effort to empower women and promote socio-economic development in the community.

“We want to empower women and help elevate their lives,”said Oduor.

Brico has been involved in various community projects, including scholarships for underprivileged youth, support for Bodaboda riders and educational materials for Form Four students.
