Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has reorganized his cabinet to enhance service delivery and boost performance.
On Friday, Lusaka stressed the need for effective service, pointing to a lack of cohesion within his team, which had hampered progress despite previous efforts at fostering unity through meetings, workshops, and seminars.
“My commitment to delivering seamless services to the people of Bungoma is unwavering," Lusaka stated, acknowledging progress but emphasizing the potential for greater impact.

"As a county government nearing the halfway point of our term, we cannot afford delays in service delivery,” he added.
Expressing his determination to build a team aligned with his vision for the county’s growth, Lusaka announced a cabinet reshuffle aimed at maximising performance.
He highlighted the importance of regional and gender balance, as well as individual qualifications.
The reshuffle includes Engineer Agnes Wachiye as the new County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Education, Dr Monica Fedha as CECM for Trade, Benedict Emachar as CECM for Gender, and Dr Wamamili Wanyonyi as CECM for Public Service.
Additionally, Beatrice Nakhumicha has been appointed Chief Officer for Youth and Sports, and Timothy Wanjala as Chief Officer for Cooperatives.
Governor Lusaka assured the public that these changes reflect his commitment to lawful governance and improved services for Bungoma’s residents.
"I need a team that understands and fully embraces my vision, dedicated to making it a reality," he stated.
