The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has arrested another suspect in connection with the murder of Wells Fargo HR Manager Willis Ayieko.
The suspect, identified as Fredrick Otieno Omondi, was taken into custody in Kisumu.
Detectives believe the suspect, a bodaboda rider, helped in ferrying the main suspect, Victor Ouma—currently in police custody—to the location where Ayieko was abducted.
“Omondi is alleged to have provided transport for Victor Ouma, also known as Sisco, to the location where Ayieko was abducted,” detectives said.
Ayieko went missing on Friday, October 21, and his handcuffed body was found near a stream in Gem, Siaya County, a week later. He was last seen attending a funeral in the area.

"Given the nature of the incident and how Ayieko’s body was found, we are treating this as a possible homicide. We will not rest until we get to the bottom of this," said Siaya Sub-County Police Commander Charles Wafula.
The DCI has assured the public that investigations are ongoing and all responsible individuals will be brought to justice.
