Kenya’s relentless pressure soon paid off again. In a well-coordinated attack, FKF Premeir League golden boot winner Benson Omalla delivered a precise assist to Patrick Otieno, who made no mistake in doubling Kenya’s lead.
This goal, coming shortly after the first, put Kenya in a commanding position and left Zambia struggling to find their rhythm.
In the other Group B match, Zimbabwe secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Comoros, placing Kenya at the top of Group B with three points, closely followed by Zimbabwe.
