Tahidi High actors with PM Raila Odinga after attending talk2raila |
Tahidi High actors and actresses on Thursday joined Prime Minister Raila Odinga during his talk2raila interactive web TV live broadcast session on Thursday evening.
The artistes of the popular TV show used the talk2raila live broadcast platform to urge the youth to play an active role in the society and to fully exploit their talent. They also advised the youth to embrace discipline and responsibility in life.
Those present at the show were Ben Mwangi, TK Kitana (aka Teacher Kilunda), Christine Mureithi (aka Makena) and Mercy Njoki (aka Shammy).
Tahidi High, a TV show that extols the virtue of discipline and forthrightness, is very popular with Kenyans, and uses the school system and motif to drive its agenda home.
The PM uses the talk2raila platform to interact with Kenyans on topical issues. The platform allows Kenyans from all over the world to ask the prime minister questions, to which he responds every week.
Last Thursday’s session was on urban and rural poverty, and how can the society take care of urban and rural poor who live in extreme poverty and the elderly.
