Hard work, discipline key to success

Students are back to school this week after a well-deserved rest.

But as they resume studies, they need to be reminded of a few important issues. First, within each one of them flickers a spark waiting to be fanned into a mighty flame of success.

Second, those seized with an unshakeable conviction they will excel and are prepared to work hard will succeed.

Third, they should also be reminded that nothing good has ever come to the impertinent and those who fail to heed sound advice.

Those who elect to be disobedient and lose sight of what took them to school will eventually reap the bitter fruits of their decision. The choice is theirs.
