Try Somali terrorists in Islamic courts

Following recent atrocities committed by the terrorist organisation Al-Shabaab in Somalia in recent weeks, is the Organisation of Islamic States (OIS) following the developments in this war torn nation?

Or is it shutting its eyes to the massacre of civilians by the jihadists in Somalia, just as it did in Algeria? While there is now an effective government in Algeria, the same does not apply to lawless Somalia.

It is time the OIS woke up to its responsibilities and set up an Islamic Sharia Tribunal to try the terrorists who are committing war crimes in the name of Islam.

Or better yet, they should first assemble an Islamic military expeditionary force to intervene alongside African Union Mission in Somalia forces.
