An early morning invasion by 4 elephants in residential areas at Kwa J shopping center along the Nyeri? Nanyuki highway set the stage for a running spree between locals and the Jumbos that lasted several hours. For about an hour the transport was paralyzed with residents desperately trying to scare the elephants back to the forest. The jumbos trampled on crop fields leaving a trail of destruction.
