Bebe Cool Booed off stage for supporting President Museveni

3rd September, 2018

Bebe Cool, an artist in Uganda has been an ardent supporter of the President, Yoweri Museveni

Over the weekend while performing at a concert in Kampalala Uganda, he was booed off stage and pelted with bottles.

The fans were chanting the slogan “free Bobi Wine “ in support of Bobi Wine.

Speaking to NTV Uganda after the incident, he stood ground of his support to the president

“They did not throw the bottles at me because they hate me. No. They are just sending a message to me only that they are sending the right message to the wrong person.

It is important for the fans to understand that if they want to send a political message they have a day to pass the message. The ballot box is not on stage.I will not be intimidated and this is why I support the president Yoweri museveni”

He further went on to accuse the media and Bobi Wine of faking his injuries after his release

“He had the heaviest shoe one that people who are not sick in their legs feel that they cant move with it because its too heavy yet media never analysed that.”

Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool have been long terms rivals in music and politics however Bobi Wine is yet to respond to this latest attack by his rival.
