Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen surprised guests at a thanksgiving ceremony in Bureti by launching a scathing criticism of Baringo senator Gideon Moi, telling him not to expect Rift valley support just because he is the son of the retired president Daniel Moi. Murkomen and other politicians had accompnaied the deputy president william Ruto to the homecoming party for area MP Japheth Tanui.
