Machakos governor Dr. Alfred Mutua, 2022's presidential bid has received a boost from Bureti Member of Parliament Japheth Mutai. Speaking at Kapsogo market in Kabarnet during the homecoming ceremony of Baringo central MP Joshua Kandie who was elected on a Maendeleo Chap Chap ticket, Mutai said the Machakos governor is capable of capturing the top seat in the country. On his part, Mutua reaffirmed his commitment to contest the presidency in 2022 saying he is working closely with Baringo senator Gideon Moi.
