Cybercrime new law to deal with fake news and pornography-News centre

It is now official, you are likely to land in jail for at least two years or get slapped with a hefty court fine running into millions of shillings should you be found guilty of misuse of the cyberspace. By the stroke of the pen, President Uhuru Kenyatta assented to the computer misuse and cybercrimes bill of 2008 in effect outlawing several cyber offenses including publishing fake news, child pornography, cyberbullying and cyber fraud amongst others.
