The different departmental committees of parliament have completed the process of vetting 51 principal secretaries nominated by president William Ruto and retreated to write the report on their suitability for appointment. Former Langata MP Nixon Korir, and two of the retained from the previous regime Charles Hinga of housing and education’s Belio Kipsanga were part of the team that was vetted today. And as our reporter Grace Ng’ang’a tells us, the committee will burn the midnight oil to ensure the process is complete and a report is written.
