The national transport and safety authority (NTSA) is alarmed by the rising number of road fatalities. As of 17th November, the number of deaths from road accidents stands at 4,116 compared to 3,946 at the same time last year. Statistics by the agency also show that 8 out of 10 deaths involve men. This was released today as Kenya joined celebrations to mark the un-recognized world day of remembrance for road traffic victims.
