Detectives at Kasarani police station have today interrogated the wife and the brother of Samuel Mugota, the man who was executed in a gangland-style by a lone gunman on Monday afternoon in Mirema springs, Roysambu in Nairobi.
Forty-year-old Mugota died of excessive bleeding from gunshot wounds after the gangster fired more than six bullets at close range. Police recovered money in both local and foreign currency, several wallets, and several identification documents in his car. Five of the people whose identity cards were found in the deceased’s car today come forward and recorded statements saying that they had lost money and other valuables after their drinks were spiked at various entertainment joints within the city.
