Deputy President William Ruto has assured all those who will vie on the UDA party ticket of fairness and transparency in the party primaries. Speaking in Chuka, Ruto said there are no preferred candidates thus quelling the simmering disquiet by some UDA members. Ruto who is on a vigorous vote hunting tour has also pledged to construct the Kithino dam in the county to ensure the availability of water for farming. His allies sustained their attacks on governors for taking ODM leader Raila Odinga around the mountain.
