No Man's Islands: A number of families fight over ownership of the 2 islands along river Nzoia

Two islands Chimo and Wepe on river Nzoia which are half the size of a football pitch are at the centre of an ownership tussle. the two are 200 meters apart and sit at the border of Kakamega and Bungoma counties in navakholo constituency. a number of families are fighting over ownership of the 2 islands, already one of the islands has been turned into a sugar plantation while the other one has been taken over by local divers.
