Acquitted 10 years Later:14 set free after decade long trial of Endarasha boys dormitory fire case

The families of Kennedy Karugu Njuguna and joseph Mwangi Kamau, two students who died following a school dormitory fire in Endarasha boys high school in Kieni west in 2010, might not find closure any time soon. this is after the high court in Nyeri today acquitted 14 persons among them, 12 former students of the school, charged with the murder. in his ruling justice Jairus Ngaah stated that there was no evidence that directly linked the 14 with the fire that caused the death of the two
