Sirisia member of parliament John Waluke caused a stir in parliament as he reported back after a court sitting in Nairobi released him on bond. The lawmaker was in custody for almost four months. Waluke was released on Monday this week by high court judge John Onyiego pending appeal of his 67-year jail term in a multi-million shillings corruption case. Waluke’s entry interrupted the business of the house as excited colleagues welcomed him.
