The National Social Security Fund, NSSF, is bracing itself for an increase in requests for retirement benefits. Savers are cushioning themselves from economic hardships caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. The fund has seen a jump in applications and predicts it could pay almost 1.2 billion shillings, by the end of January next year.
