Health Cs Mutahi Kagwe and Ps Susan Mochache have denied any role in the procurement of Covid?19 emergency supplies. The two have thrown the ball back at Kemsa saying Kemsa procured beyond its budget, bypassed the ministry and sought over 5 billion shillings from the treasury. KEMSA requested to have 6.7 billion shillings of the Universal Health Care funds converted to pay for Ppe’s.
