The Chairman Of The Senate National Security Committee Yusuf Haji Said The Media Was Not Invited To Cover The Meeting.  The Media Council Of Kenya And A Section Of Senators On Their Official Tweeter Accounts Criticised The Move As Retrogressive Adding That The Public Had A Right To Know The Reasons For The Arrest On A Day The Senate Was To Vote On The Contentious Revenue Sharing Formula.
