In what is fast shaking the realms of Kenya’s judiciary and what would likely impact on judicial operations in the coming days Kenya’s Chief Justice David Maraga has this evening made drastic changes within the judiciary transferring some five judges. Among those affected is Justice Chacha Mwita of the constitutional and human rights division who has been moved to Kajiado high court, where he will be a presiding judge. Justice Mwita has in the past made controversial judgments against the state and some describe this ceding ground to pressure from the state.
