ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda demands arrest of Kenyans accused of interference with ICC witnesses
The prosecutor of the international criminal court Fatou Bensouda has now confirmed that she is training her guns on three Kenyans accused of interference with ICC witnesses. Bensouda says her efforts to prove her case against deputy president William Ruto and radio journalist Joshua arap Sang were systematically frustrated by intimidation, social isolation and threats on witnesses to prevent them from testifying, causing her to lose 17 witnesses.
