The incendiary speech made by ODM Branch chairman George Aladwa

We are taking a difficult, but, we believe, important decision, to show you a video clip we would typically not put on air. It is the video that has outraged thousands of people, especially on social media, here in Kenya. On Mashujaa day, when Kenyans should have been taking time to reflect on what it means to be a Kenyan hero, one politician here in Nairobi took to the podium and made utterances that should worry right thinking members of society. We recognize, the potential dangers of showing this clip, but we also know that it is in greater public interest to expose the people who in the guise of freedom of expression may end up endangering everyone else. We also believe that this exception is necessary to remind those charged with the responsibility of protecting the country from hateful messages to rise up and do their part.
