The withdrawal of the charges against Lengo Karisa Mdzomba followed an application by the office of the director of public prosecutions indicating Odinga and Mvurya’s intention not to proceed with the case. Mdzomba, however, still faces the charge of creating a disturbance in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace.
