Back in Kenya, the country is abuzz with excitement as in the United States the award season begins. The reason is Lupita Nyong’o, an actress who has become a household name across the country. She is also Kisumu senator professor Anyang’ Nyong’o’s daughter. She was however born outside the country a factor that has sparked fierce wars as Kenyans stake their claim to her.
